Hip-Hop at 50 with Prof. Patrick ‘9th Wonder’ Douthit

Wake Forest University African American Studies Professor of the Practice in Residence Patrick ‘9th Wonder’ Douthit will be featured in a celebration of the 50th anniversary of hip-hop on Monday, July 24, 2023 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The event is sponsored by the Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County and is funded through ARPA supported by the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners. The event is co-presented with the Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership, Triad Cultural Arts, the Winston-Salem Urban League, and the Winston-Salem Police Department.
